Shipping policy
At The Moonbean Edit, we curate products from different trusted suppliers and fulfilment partners. This means that shipping times, courier services, tracking updates, and delivery arrangements may vary depending on the product, supplier, warehouse location, and delivery destination.
By placing an order with us, you agree to the shipping terms below.
1. Order Processing Time
Orders are usually processed within 2 to 5 business days after payment is successfully received.
Processing time refers to the time needed to verify your order, prepare the item, and arrange fulfilment with our supplier. Processing time does not include shipping or delivery time.
During peak periods, promotional campaigns, public holidays, supplier delays, or high order volume, processing may take longer.
2. Estimated Shipping Time
Estimated delivery times vary depending on the product, supplier, warehouse location, courier, and delivery destination.
Delivery may take longer due to customs clearance, courier delays, weather disruptions, public holidays, logistics congestion, incorrect address details, or circumstances outside our control.
3. Multiple Items and Split Shipments
If your order contains multiple items, they may be fulfilled by different suppliers or warehouses.
This means your items may arrive:
- In separate parcels;
- On different dates;
- With different tracking numbers; or
- Through different couriers.
You will only be charged shipping according to the shipping rates shown at checkout, unless otherwise stated.
4. Shipping Confirmation and Tracking
Once your order has been processed and shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details, where available.
Please note that tracking information may take several days to update after the parcel has been dispatched. In some cases, tracking updates may be limited depending on the courier, destination, or supplier’s shipping method.
If your tracking information has not updated for several days, this does not always mean the parcel is lost. It may still be in transit or awaiting courier scan updates.
5. Shipping Rates
Shipping rates, if applicable, will be shown at checkout before payment is completed.
From time to time, we may offer free shipping promotions. Free shipping offers may be subject to minimum spend, product exclusions, destination restrictions, or promotional terms.
6. Delivery Address
Please ensure that your shipping address is complete, accurate, and up to date before placing your order.
We are not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, lost parcels, returned parcels, or additional shipping charges caused by incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address details provided by the customer.

We can only update the address if the order has not yet been processed, fulfilled, or shipped by the supplier.
7. Failed Delivery, Refused Parcel, or Uncollected Parcel
If a delivery fails because the customer provided an incorrect address, refused the parcel, was unavailable to receive the parcel, or failed to collect the parcel from the courier or collection point, we may not be able to offer a refund.
If the parcel is returned to sender and the supplier allows reshipment, additional shipping fees may apply.
If the supplier does not accept returned parcels or the parcel is lost due to failed delivery caused by the customer, the order may not be eligible for refund or replacement.
8. Lost Parcels
A parcel is not considered lost simply because it is delayed.
If your parcel appears significantly delayed, please contact us and we will help check the status with the supplier or courier.
If the courier or supplier officially confirms that the parcel is lost in transit, we will review the case and may offer a replacement, store credit, or refund, depending on the supplier’s investigation outcome.
9. Customs, Duties, Taxes, and Import Fees
For international orders, your parcel may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, GST, VAT, handling fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country.
These charges are not included in the product price or shipping fee unless expressly stated at checkout.
Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, import fees, or clearance charges required by their local authorities.
We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance or for parcels held, rejected, or returned by customs due to local import restrictions.
10. Product Availability and Supplier Fulfilment
Although we aim to keep product information accurate, product availability may change due to supplier inventory updates, warehouse delays, or fulfilment issues.
If an item becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we may contact you to offer:
- A replacement item;
- A delayed fulfilment option;
- Store credit; or
- A refund for the unavailable item.
11. Shipping Restrictions
Some products may not be available for delivery to certain countries, regions, or addresses due to supplier limitations, courier restrictions, customs rules, or product category restrictions.
If we are unable to ship an item to your location, we will contact you after reviewing the order.
12. Pre-Order or Backorder Items
If an item is listed as a pre-order or backorder product, the estimated shipping timeframe will begin only after the item becomes available and is processed by the supplier.
If your order contains both in-stock and pre-order items, they may be shipped separately.
13. Delivery Delays Outside Our Control
We are not responsible for shipping delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Customs inspections or clearance delays;
- Courier disruptions;
- Weather conditions;
- Public holidays;
- Supplier warehouse delays;
- Incorrect or incomplete address details;
- High-volume shipping periods;
- Border restrictions;
- Strikes, emergencies, or force majeure events.
We will, however, do our best to assist you with tracking and supplier follow-up where possible.
